Just right OCD (Symmetry OCD)

Just right OCD (Symmetry OCD) is another subtype of OCD that is very much associated with having everything 'perfect.' The person may carry out certain actions until they are performed perfectly. They will repeat these actions over and over again because if they don't there is this overwhelming dread that something bad will happen. Examples of this might be: 1). lining up tins or cans in a cupboard so that they are all facing the same way. 2). Handwriting that is written perfectly. 3). Having to touch one side of something and then the other side to equal/level things up. 4). Hanging a mirror on the wall so that it is perfectly straight. 5). Going somewhere one way and coming back the same way. These are just a few examples but examples could include almost anything.
