Pure OCD

Pure OCD is where the individual has the obsessional thoughts but any compulsions that do occur are unseen to the world around them and happen within the person's head. Examples of hidden compulsions might include counting, praying, reciting certain sentences and constantly reviewing things that have happened in the past to make sure nothing bad happened. The treatment for Pure O remains the same as it does for all other subtypes of OCD which is Exposure Response Prevention Therapy, (ERP).
